At Smart Simple Nutrition, we don't believe in DIETING. Dieting doesn't do anything but provide a temporary solution to a long-term problem. Rather, we believe in empowering you with the knowledge to help you make healthier food choices and having you take this knowledge so you can open the door to leading a happier and healthier life for you and your family.
I love to eat and I love to cook. And I had struggles just like you. But I don't believe in short-term dieting and counting calories. Matter of fact, I really dislike the words "to diet". To diet gives the impression that by changing what and how much you eat, you can lose weight. Sure, that can work in the short term, but if that diet isn't part of a long-term plan, then more than likely the results will only be a temporary solution. The key to making healthy choices and eating clean is to make small and gradual changes and incorporate them into your daily life. I believe that success comes from making lifestyle and behavioral modifications to your daily activities to last the rest of your healthy life. My experiences have also shown that smaller changes are more manageable and show some of the most effective long-term results.
Being healthy doesn't mean you have to be a skinny size 6. Being healthy comes in different shapes and sizes. And to be healthy, we need to feed our bodies the right foods and combinations that fit our busy life and daily needs. We believe in taking a "whole body approach" to assess what your nutritional and health concerns are. We do this by investigating what the root causes of your problems are through a thorough medical and nutritional history. Once we address what the root causes are, you will be on the successful road to a happier and healthier you.
